All Saints Church, Freshwater dated from the 12th century.
The Mission Church of St Andrew's was opened in the school room at Norton Green in 1906, after the school closed, a new church was built there in 1912/13.
In 1908 a Mission Church, St Agnes', was opened in Freshwater Bay to serve residents in that area.
