Blackgang Mission Hall

The Blackgang Mission Hall on Blythe Shute, Chale was erected in 1895. At the same time the two cottages next door and The Manse were built.
A previous Mission Hall had been built in 1873 near Blackgang Chine, after 1895, the old Mission Hall was used as a tearoom before being lost to coastal erosion.
The New Mission Hall was used until the 1990's.
Today (2023) the Hall is in private ownership and is used as a holiday let.
