Havenstreet, Main Road milestone

On the west side of the main road through Havenstreet, Isle of Wight, just to the south of the White Hart Inn, stands this milestone on the edge of the verge.
The inscription is unreadable, however the Ordnance Survey 1866, 6 inch to 1 mile map for the area shows the milestone as indicating 'Newport 4 miles, Ryde 3 miles'.
