High on West High Down, at the western end of the Isle of Wight, to the south of Footpath 24 stands this milestone. This stone reads (on the north face):

On the western side of the marker there appears to be an Ordnance Survey Bench Mark.

A short distance further to the west is this War Department Boundary Stone (shown on 1907 OS map as 'B.S. W ↑ D No.2').
