MV Albatros was a wooden Dutch Motor Coaster of 131 tons built in 1913.
On the 22nd December 1952 while en-route from Penzance to Hull with scrap-iron salvaged from the wreck of HMS Warspite in Mounts Bay, she collided in thick fog with the wreck of the Volkerak and was a total loss.
The crew of 3 were saved.
