Ryde Bible Christian Chapel (Newport Street)

The Bible Christian Chapel, in Newport Street (previously Newport Road), Ryde, was established in 1860[1], later being designated a Methodist Chapel[2] and was closed sometime in the late 1930's.
Later the building became part Greenmount Primary School (which also occupied the old National School building in Green Street, which backed onto the chapel). After the school had moved in 2011, the old chapel was converted into residential properties.
