Sandown Baptist Church

The Baptist Church, Sandown, stands on the corner of Station Avenue (in old records, Pellmont Road) and St John's Road (in old records, Bridger Street) dates from 1882 when memorial stones were laid.[1]
The building was in the Early English style, the architect being Mr. E. S. Tomkins and the builder Mr. Isaac Barton, of Ryde.[2]
