St Lawrence Church
From Wightpedia
The new St Lawrence Church, on Undercliff Drive was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and built in 1876 to replace the 12th century old church of St Lawrence.
The church is Grade II* listed[1] and contains a three lower panel window to the memory of Dr. George James Shaw from the Royal National Hospital chapel representing the Raising of Lazarus, and Jairus's daughter - both by William Morris, and Healing of the Woman with an Issue of Blood by Ford Madox Brown.[2]
