St Mary's Church, Brading

St Mary's Church, on Brading High Street dates from the 12th century and is Grade I listed[1] The church was the center of a large parish stretching between St Helens and Shanklin and including Bembridge to the East.
Originally the church would have been a seamark used by ships in Brading Haven which extended inland to near the church.
