St Mary's Church, Brighstone

The Grade I listed[1], church of St Mary's stands on the corner of Main Road and New Road, Brighstone and dates from the 11th century.
Within the church are panels recording the operation of the Brighstone Lifeboat and in the churchyard there is a memorial to Lieut. George Albert Cairns V.C.
There a detached graveyard connected with the church in New Road.
