John Taplin & Co were mineral water and ginger beer manufacturers operating in South Street, Newport, Isle of Wight from 1896 to 1898.
John Taplin had taken over the business formerly carried on by Mr. Hattatt in 1896 where he had been manager, having came to the Island from Southampton with Mr. Hattatt some years before.
John died in July 1898 and the business appears to have been taken over by Jordan & Stanley on his death.
