Yarmouth Baptist Chapel
From Wightpedia
A Baptist Chapel existed at Yarmouth from 1823 to the early 20th century.
Following the closure of the chapel, it was acquired by Captain Scott Rogers, R.N. who converted it to a community hall called 'The Eremue Hall'[1], following his death he passed the hall and three adjoining cottages to the local Council[2].
Today (2023)the old chapel is Grade II listed[3] and is known as 'Eremue Hall, Eremue Lane' (or incorrectly as 'Eremure' in some references) and is a private residence
