Alum Bay Coastguard Cottages

New Coastguard houses were built overlooking Alum Bay, Isle of Wight in the early 20th century.
Unlike the old cottages, the new ones had clear views across the eastern Solent to the mainland. They were positioned above the Needles Battery.
Today (2021) the cottages are owned by the National Trust and rented as holiday lets.
