Alum Bay Old Coastguard Cottages

The original Alum Bay Coastguard Cottages were built near the junction of New and Old Alum Bay Roads.
In the early twentieth century, land was obtained high above Alum Bay which offered clear views across the western approaches to the Solent and new Coastguard Cottages were built there as replacements for these original cottages.
