Westbourne House, Birmingham Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight is a Grade II listed building[1].
Thomas Arnold was born at Westbourne House in 1795.
His father, William Arnold, was a Customs officer at West Cowes. Thomas went on to famously be headmaster of Rugby School 1828 - 1842.
In the 20th century the house was used as Westbourne House, school for girls.
