St Helen's Church
From Wightpedia
The current Grade II listed[1] church of St Helen's on Eddington Road between St Helens and Nettlestone villages, dates from circa 1720. It replaced the Old Church which had fallen into the sea and, which now, is a seamark.
The original St Helen's parish extended west to Monkton Mead (Ryde) and north to the sea at Seaview, there remains a parish boundary stone on Ryde Esplanade. The churches of St John's Ryde and St Peter's Seaview were originally within the St Helen's Parish.
