St John's Church, Ryde
From Wightpedia
St John's Church at Ryde was built in 1843 as a Chapel of Ease to St Helen's Church; the area then being in the Parish of St. Helens. It was built in the 'Early English' style to the design of local architect Thomas Hellyer[1].
In 1870 the church was enlarged and became a Parish Church in its own right. The church is now Grade II listed.[2]
There's a detached churchyard located at the top of Smallbrooke Lane connected to St. John's Church.
